Shot in a day, with no budget.
My new YouTube channel is up and running, and I’m starting to put up various clips of stuff that I’ve been involved in. Here’s me in a scene with British comedy legend Joanna Lumley in the 1999 TV series Dr. Willoughby.
2nd draft of Marriage can be Murder is done! I’ll have to do a few re-writes before going into pre-production, but will hopefully not be too long.

I’m pretty proud that I can still do this…always comes as a surprise to people.

Back in 1999, I wrote a screenplay for a short film which was produced the following year by a friend of mine. Syrup was shot on an old hand-cranked Bolex with a budget of £1,000 (mostly for film stock and developing); I appeared in the film (not for vanity reasons, but for budget reasons), and we also managed to talk my old drama tutor into appearing in it as well. Syrup was screened at Cinema 1 of the ICA in January 2004 (post-production took a long time!) and received a great reception from the audience at the screening.
